hearing loss and wears
hearing aids while competing, the US snowboarder Amy Purdy – or the US figure skater, Adam Rippon who has an 80 percent hearing loss.
Regardless of the
level of hearing loss, hearing aids are making a big difference for athletes. The Winter Olympics were both a celebration of the fighting spirit of the participants and a testament to the empowering potential of well developed hearing aid technology.
