Job Summary:
This position will report to the Director of Business Development and will support the internal and external Business Development teams. The Business Development Analyst is responsible for the completion of the customer financing process and requires efficient customer communication to ensure necessary documentation is received to initiate and process customer financial agreements. In addition, the Business Development Analyst will support the department in assisting with the maintenance of reports, development of internal processes and documentation of best practices. This position will be required to coordinate and communicate effectively with the finance, sales and accounts receivable departments as well as the management team. The Business Development Analyst will collaborate with various departments on special projects as required.

Essential Responsibilities:
Financial Agreement Application Evaluation
  • Communicate with customers to coordinate the gathering of required application materials
  • Create, maintain and organize customer files
  •  Application review, including ROI calculations and risk evaluation
  • Draft agreement contracts
Loan Portfolio Maintenance
  • Reconcile portfolio balances to general ledger
  • Calculate month-end journal entries
  • Analyze and report portfolio performance
  • Generate customer statements
Other Responsibilities
  • Maintain internal reports
  • Develop reports for effective portfolio and customer management
  • Coordinate collection efforts with under-performing customers
  • Assist with development and documentation of internal processes

Knowledge and Skills Required:
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Prior lending experience a plus
  • Knowledge and experience with loan administration, credit risk review and loan defaults
  • Knowledge of the Uniform Commercial Code a plus
  • Proficient with MS Office applications, including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint and Excel
  • Professional communicator, both verbally and in writing, is critical
  • Adaptable and responsive to innovation and change, identification of areas for improvement
  • Results driven with the ability to work well and deliver under pressure in a fast paced environment
  • Attentive to details, deadline-oriented and effective time management skills are critical
  • Able to work independently and with a team to facilitate the goals and objectives of the finance department and the Company under general supervision.
