MEET ANURADHA

Anuradha Paudwal is an Indian playback singer, she is known for her soft and melodious songs. She was born as Alka Nadakarni, in a Marathi speaking family in Karwar. She started her music career in 1973 from Hindi Movie Abhiman and since then it has been a long journey of recording numerous songs.

Mrs. Anuradha has been honored with many awards including 4 filmfare, 1 National award and Padma Shri  by the Government of India , the country's highest civilian honor for her contribution in the fields of arts. She has been awarded a doctorate in music by DY Patil University felicitated by the house of commons.

Musical Journey

In her career spanning over four decades Mrs. Anuradha has recorded more than 9,000 songs and more than 1,500 bhajans. She strongly believes that music heals and transforms one's life. As an ambassador of Widex PureSound, she propagates good quality sound to the world.

Staying connected to Nature and to Society

She loves being close to nature and her holiday destination includes places that are rich in greenery. She also likes to visit holy places that gives her inner peace.

She was always inclined to do something for society that eventually  lead  her forming her own NGO  "Suryodaya Foundation". Through this foundation she runs many projects to help society.  Recently in March 2023, the foundation donated 250 hearing aids for hearing-impaired school children in Odisha.
