”I now function on equal terms with other people - both socially and professionally”. Morten Olsen, coach of the Danish national football team, has had a hearing loss for many years. The hereditary disorder otosclerosis has been his opponent since the 1970s, and it has significantly affected his quality of life both in his professional career as a football coach and in his private life.
